What to include
A few details make it easier to understand and reproduce the problem.
- The app name, app version, and macOS, iOS, or iPadOS version. For DiskPress for Mac, say whether you installed it from the Mac App Store or Setapp.
- What you were trying to do, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- Whether you optimized a saved location or a one-time selection, along with any error or warning text. On Mac, also mention background monitoring or the CLI if relevant.
- For DiskPress for Files, whether the selection is inside a local "On My iPhone" or "On My iPad" folder or a cloud-provider location. Do not include private paths.
- For an iOS Shortcuts issue, the action name, how you started the shortcut, and any error or completion summary. Remove private filenames and folder paths before sharing.
- Steps to reproduce the problem and a redacted screenshot, if helpful.
Share only what is needed. Remove private filenames, paths, passwords, and other sensitive information from screenshots or logs. Do not send personal files or recovery material unless support asks for specific information you are comfortable sharing.
If DiskPress reports unfinished recovery, keep its recovery files and records intact while asking for help.
For answers about supported files, savings, and everyday use, check the FAQ. For iPhone and iPad automation, see Shortcuts setup and requirements. The privacy policy explains how support information is handled.
